Wartburg Speedway to be home of Southern Mod Lite series

For the 2012 season, Wartburg Speedway will be the home to the Southern Mod Lite Racing Series. On three weeks of each month, the SMLRS will be part of the Wartburg Speedway racing rotation. Mod lites are smaller scale racing machines that look similar to the open wheel modifieds, but are about half the size and are powered by motorcycle engines. It is the most unique form of dirt track racing in the area. Wartburg Speedway is proud to have the SMLRS for 2012. To learn more about the series, visit their web site by clicking here.
